Our Background

Helping Canadians access the financing they need

Neighbourhood Holdings was born out of a single-family investment office in 2015. The founding principles remain true today: providing accessible mortgage financing solutions for Canadian homeowners while generating stable returns for investors.

We noticed that many Canadians were being left behind by the inflexible mortgage landscape dominated by banks. The economy was changing but the rules weren’t. That became our niche: providing access to mortgage financing to those temporarily outside of the bank lending space.

At Neighbourhood, we are nimble—constantly evolving to provide solutions that address market needs. We are data-driven, energetic, fuelled by ambition, and obsessed with customer service. We dive into details to improve continuously.

We began as a family office, and that culture remains today. Like a family, we stick together as a team and take care of stakeholders—borrowers, investors, brokers. The door is always open at Neighbourhood.
